Please join us at the Clifasefi's beautiful home, in Lake Forest Park, for a small-group informal discussion (and food!) to gain new insights on refugees in the Middle East, community-based efforts to assist them, the power of mind-body healing in transforming trauma in refugee communities, and ways you might be able to get involved.
Refugees in the Middle East are back in the news, and countries like Jordan continue to host huge numbers of refugees from conflicts no longer making headlines. The Collateral Repair Project (CRP) serves people affected by these tragedies every day. CRP's Executive Director, Amanda Lane, is in town and we're especially excited to share about an upcoming Healers Delegation to Collateral Repair Project in Jordan this November. I’m honored to be a part of the Healers Delegation, and to go to Jordan in the spirit of relational repair and shared humanity. I have wanted to cultivate somatics with communities in the Middle East for many years and can't wait to tell you more about it.
Come gain some new insights, share your thoughts, and learn about how alternative healing modalities are making a huge impact on the resilience of CRP's refugee community.
Please come and RSVP! We really hope to see you there.
To RSVP, email alyciascott@gmail.com.
