This November, I am honored to be invited to join a Healers Delegation to work with the Collateral Repair Project serving refugee communities in Amman, Jordan.
The Healers Delegation to Jordan is a collaboration between The Healer Within, an integrative healing collective, and Collateral Repair Project (CRP), a grassroots organization in Amman, Jordan that brings assistance to refugees and Jordanians in need. CRP offers the community ways to process the trauma of displacement, the tools to find alternative income streams, and opportunities to structure their days to stave off frustration and rebuild their lives.
The Collateral Repair Project provides emergency assistance, educational, recreational, mental health and wellbeing, and income-generating programs to vulnerable Jordanians and refugee populations from Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, and Palestine. CRP programs focus on training and empowering people to take an active role in community service and leading programs.
I have wanted to share somatics in the Middle East for years. It is a great honor to be able to work with Collateral Repair Project staff to offer somatic practices to meet the needs of refugee communities in Jordan. CRP has been doing incredible work integrating alternative healing modalities that are making a huge impact in building resilience within the refugee community in Amman. I am beyond excited to be a part of cultivating somatic programs for the Collateral Repair Project refugee community to use in their daily lives and overall holistic wellness.
The Healers Delegation will leave on October 30th for Jordan. The delegation has committed to help fundraise to cover at least 75% of the costs of travel, room and board. Your financial support for the Healers Delegation would be deeply appreciated. There are two ways you can support.

Alycia Scott Zollinger is a psychosomatic healing facilitator, somatic educator, and performance artist dedicated to the interconnection of mind, body, and spirit. She is a Seattle School of Body-Psychotherapy graduate, a Certified Yoga Instructor with over 2,800 hours of training, and a Movement-Integration specialist with a Masters of Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She serves as a peer editor for the International Body-Psychotherapy Journal and is a designated Master Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist with the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA). Alycia also traverses the wilds of nature facilitating embodied ritual, ancestral healing, and creative somatic agency. She is honored to have a private practice serving clients in Seattle and around the world.
